The latest in the Temple Gate series:

I thought the piece looked sort of like a leaf, but when I went to glaze it, something about the form seemed like this combination fit better. One of my classmates said the piece reminds her of a bird in flight.

I like the contrast between the sea green and black, which you can see better in the shot of the basin:

That is very pretty! I really do think it looks leaf-y, though. I don't really see the bird thing.
But a leaf in flight? That works. :) Thanks for coming by the blog and commenting. I know I was being defensive, and silly, but it's still a funny blog post so I like it.
I think this is my favourite one yet, though the clover trinket dish was pretty cool.
